This in-depth course is designed for leaders responsible for shaping professional development across phases, departments, schools or trusts. Participants explore what makes professional development effective, how to create a shared vision for improving teaching, and how to develop a programme that combines group rehearsal, drop-ins and instructional coaching.

The day blends theory, modelling and practical rehearsal. Leaders analyse examples of strong professional development delivery, script and practise elements of training they can take back to their settings, and learn how to build the culture needed for long-term improvement. Delegates also gain access to Steplab’s Implementation Roadmap to support ongoing development and sustained implementation after the training.
