This is a blended programme that equips school leaders to embed inclusive, evidence-informed practices and drive sustainable whole-school improvement while minimising time away from school.

Live Launch
Taking place on 9 July 2026, 9am - 12pm, this live launch session sets the foundation for the entire programme.

Module 1: From Paradigm Shift. Leaders will experience the immersive Neurodivergent Experience, helping them understand neurodivergent pupils’ realities, reflect on audit insights, identify strengths and barriers, and shift toward inclusive leadership, ending with clear action-focused objectives for themselves, pupils, and the wider school community.Taking place on 9 July 2026, 9am - 12pm, this live launch session sets the foundation for the entire programme. Self-Led Online Learning
Week 1-2:  Fri 10 – Fri 17 Jul.

Module 2: Rethinking Neurodiversity in Education.
Develop a deeper understanding of neurodiversity through a strengths based lens. Explore Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, PDA, EBSA and co-occurring profiles. Understand masking, burnout and the barriers neurodivergent pupils often face within education systems. Leaders will reflect on how school policies, practices and culture can unintentionally create barriers and consider how a strengths-based approach can improve outcomes.

Module 3: Regulation, Relationships & the Role of Staff.
Explore child development, Polyvagal Theory, nervous system regulation and the science behind behaviour. Leaders will understand the importance of co-regulation, emotional safety and staff responses in shaping pupil outcomes. Practical tools such as dysregulation tracking, masking tracking and sensory profiling will support leaders in building a culture where staff respond consistently and effectively to need. Module 4: Reducing Pressure Through Realistic Expectations & Inclusive Curriculum Design.
Examine child brain development, executive functioning and developmental readiness. Leaders will explore how curriculum demands, school systems and behavioural expectations can inadvertently create barriers for neurodivergent pupils. Using practical tools, participants will identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary pressure whilst maintaining high aspirations and improving access to learning for all pupils.Week 5-6: Mon 21 Sep – Fri 2 Oct. Explore how Emotion Coaching, Nonviolent Communication and Empowered Conversations can strengthen relationships across the school community. Leaders will consider how these approaches can support staff, improve parent-school relationships, reduce conflict and create a culture built on trust, collaboration and emotional safety. Particular focus is given to attendance concerns, anxiety, EBSA and rebuilding relationships with families.Week 7-8: Mon 5 Oct – Wed 21 Oct. Module 5: Embedding Neuro-Inclusion into Whole-School Strategy. Closing Workshop
On 22 October 2026, 9:30am - 12:15pm, this final strategic workshop brings together all programme learning.

Leaders will review their audit findings, policy reflections, pupil profile work and implementation priorities before creating a practical Neuro Inclusion Mapping Plan for their setting. Participants will identify priority actions, define success measures, establish timelines and align neuro-inclusion priorities with wider school improvement objectives. Schools will leave with a clear, realistic roadmap for embedding sustainable neuro-inclusive practice across their setting. On 22 October 2026, 9:30am - 12:15pm, this final strategic workshop brings together all programme learning. Module 6: Embedding Neuro-Inclusion into Whole-School Strategy. Kathryn Humphries
Kathryn is a leading advocate for neurodiversity, mental health, and wellbeing, with two decades of experience across the charitable, public, and education sectors. She has led initiatives to support mental wellbeing and neurodiversity in schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), promoting resilience, inclusivity, and effective communication. Her personal experiences as a parent of a neurodivergent child and recovering from burnout drive her passion for supporting others. Known for her commitment to evidence-based practice, Kathryn provides coaching and consulting, helping individuals understand neurodiverse needs and overcome life’s challenges through experiential learning and research-based approaches.
